The Boatyard

We have a 40 ton travel lift that will pull up to a 16 foot beam boat. We consider our yard a DIY Boatyard. Regardless of the type of work you want to do on your boat, you can do it. We do have guidelines that must be followed, and we can and do provide services for those who can not tackle some of the work they want done.

The current haul out rate is 14.00 per foot. This includes the haul out, pressure washing, blocking and re-splash. Additional fees will be charged for scraping barnacles and for loading boats on trailers for transport and is based on 55.00 per hour.

While the boat is in the yard, we charge .75 cents per foot, per day. However if the length of time exceeds 7 days, the rate is 9.00 per foot, per month.

Our Ships Store is well stocked with many of the supplies needed in a boatyard as well as the transient boater. For items not in stock, if we order by 11am, we can get delivery by 2pm. If the Item needed is in our Norfolk warehouse and we order by 2pm it will be here by 2pm the next day.

We do haul outs for transient boaters and just as our prop and shaft specialist works hard, so do we to get our customers back in the water and on their journey.

Johnny Cepeda is our boatyard foreman and has several years experience in running the travel lift, crane and forklift and also takes care of the drive train repairs such as shaft and prop work.
